This is why firefox will always be more secure than Chrome, alternatives are not up to the task yet and for some reasons it takes time for google developers to provide the necessary interface to NoScript developers in order to easily port it fully. The NPAPI plugin is for Firefox and other browsers based on the Gecko-rendering engine. Install NoScript addon, no flash plugin will fire itself up without your consent. The Google Chrome web browser includes a Flash plugin and you don’t need to install separately. The procedure for installing Flash is pretty similar from version to version of Ubuntu. If you want to install Flash, Java, MP3 playback, and a lot of other popular proprietary codecs all at once, install the ubuntu-restricted-extras package instead.
